…90% off on Steam. You can pick up what I feel is a very underrated game for $2.00.

I figured what the hell, it's $2, and the game's a massive 11 gigabyte RPG, so there's no way I won't get my money's worth. Took it like 6 hours though, but it's finally here.

The game has a few issues but is definitely worth $2. I paid $40 for it and don't regret it.

Did not buy it, but you telling me of it let me know of the other deals on steam...so I ended up buying Total War series and Company of Heroes.

So far, so good. Got in a couple of hours. The first levels are kind of hard, because if you're a stealth character without any gun skills, your stealth is still too low leveled and you wind up getting into gunfights (and if you sprint, everyone within 500 feet hears ya) and totally hosed with bullets. The AI is also kind of stupid at parts, but that's not too bad. The boss characters, like a certain Russian rich kid, are hilarious, albeit a bit difficult. All in all, it looks like this could have been game of the year if Obsidian had a few extra months to work out some kinks and fix things. But you can tell Obsidian made it, because it easily has the best dialogue-influenced gameplay since Planescape and Fallout (I wonder why), and the level design, if it had been worked out a bit more, was almost like Deus Ex in choice range.
