Maximum PC

I know that "Win" is short for "Windows", but I couldn't help but feel the awesomeness of seeing "Alien Swarm" with "Platform: Win" together, it just totally rings so true! Kinda feel like Charlie Sheen had something to do with it, lol. Anyway, for those who have NO clue wtf I'm talking about, check this page out.

Alien Swarm gets boring after beating it a couple times, like many other games.

Have you checked out the FPS mod that was released for it? It takes it to another level, kinda harder in a way too cuz it takes away a couple tiny things that are useful.

An FPS mod for alien swarm? That sounds interesting....used to play the regular one with friends, gonna have to check it out again.

I couldn't even make myself get through it once. I may have to check out the mod though.

AS reminds me of one of my all-time fave NES games, Alien Syndrome, of which I still love to play, and here's the sequel to it for the Wii.

I played through it multiple times and did all of that. Fun when it came out, got boring shortly after. Especially if you can't find anyone decent to play with.

Sadly this kills so many great online games.

Good game. I played it enough to prestige... errr.. promote once and then haven't played it for a while. Trying to get my friends into a 4-player FPS version game.

They need to release it for $5-10 with full support for FPS (done through a UI option, not through commands), and with bots like L4D in the real game. Also the ability to give commands to bots like you can do in practice, but less buggy. I couldn't get the medic to place the heal beacon. I got the one bot to place the sentry but he wouldn't pick it up again, even after I stripped it down and threw it on the ground as a pickup. Also bots aren't good with the Medi-gun.
