Maximum PC

I was loading the cevo gui and i messed it up somehow and the game wouldnt load.. I then got a popup that said something about how it needs to be basic color or something after reinstalling, i dont remember honestly. Now after trying everything i can think of, deleting steam, counterstrike, updating video card drivers, updating dirx, and system restoring i have run out of solutions.. If anybody could help thatd be great.

Again, I click on cs its starts to open normally i see the normal backround for not even a second and then, black screen. Once it goes into black screen i cant click, my mouse doesnt come up at all and i have dual monitors so not on the other one either, and the only way i can get out is by opening task manager

Systm has Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit with ati radeon hd 4850 i believe, its definatly in the 4800 series.

Did you Extract these files into the appropriate folder on your cstrike directory?

Did you try using restore to go to a day before you screwed the pooch?
