Maximum PC

I just wanted to let some know that Deathspank is a good game. i liked Torchlight a lot, and this game is almost like it, except it has an open world and not as many dungeons (mostly one-level stuff so far). Some quests involve combining items or rescuing innocent orphans, and the dialogue is kind of funny. The main character reminds me of The Tick (cartoon). I also like the auto-equip-if-the-gear-is-better system, which saves the hassle of comparing stuff all the time as you go (though there is an option to compare)

for 15$ its a good game and worth it. Just picked it up today and reached level 14

I liked it as well. But, it did not pull me in for a purchase. Something about the game mechanics feel,... off.

None the less, its certainly worth checking out. Nice art style and funny dialogue.

I'll pick it up if it goes on sale but given Cons.' comment, I think I'll pass on full price.

Bloody Good Time, on the other hand, looks hilariously fun and is only $5. Anyone played it? It is available on both Steam and XBLA.

i have not picked it up/played Bloody Good Time yet, but is that game like The Ship? it sounds like its a MP only game, with no valid single player content. characters are wacky though.
