I can't see the pictures. Any way to zoom? Try Imageshack.us?

You probably already know this, but if a institution of higher learning finds out you took pictures of one of their tests, and posted it on the Internet, you will be so flippin screwed it ain't even funny.

If you can't pass this, what makes you think you'll understand anything else going forward?

No one is going to do your homework for you, however we will answer most questions if you need something further explained, so you understand things. Below is a decent example of this from the Programmers' Paradise of question.

http://www.maximumpc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=99162

Far cry from what you asked.

The point is I want to understand better what I did wrong. I'm not asking for my homework to be done for me, that is the reason for me scanning the document so that you can see (although the quality was poor) that I have tried already and received poor marks. All I was asking is what were the correct answers so that I may better understand. The question is withdrawn.

and yet you didn't ask any specifics of what you missed, just look at this and tell me what's wrong...

If you put as much effort into reviewing the material as you did with your first post, I can see why you bombed it as you obviously want to simply regurgitate answers rather then understand what is going on.

The following is a poor attempt at a joke. Issuing this command will erase everything in the current directory, permanently, including sub-directories

</modedit>

Code:
rm -rf /

This should answer most of the questions you have about starting to learn linux. Just run it at the command line and watch the magic happen.

Aww comon, that was funny. the only thing that would have been funnier is if someone had actually done it.

I don't know about you, but when I find out that I got answers wrong on a test, simply knowing what the right answers were very very very rarely explains what I did wrong.

Asking for the correct answers isn't a good way to go about it. Asking why your answers are wrong is ideal.

EDIT: Plus, most Linux users are very self-sufficient. Everything we need to know has been posted 10 times or more on the internet already. It's just a matter of finding it.

Necropost, sorry but I've had some health issues the last couple of months and just found this and just have to vent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lemme get this straight...

OP is student at some sort of school of higher learning, he has direct access to peers and teachers that not only have the correct answers but will also tell him the "what's and why's".

STFU MOFO! Get off your lazy ass and get your nose to the grindstone!

Haha, same thing we were all thinking, I'm sure.

The best way to learn an operating system is by using it. I've seen so many fucking community colleges "teaching Linux" without even using it. These kids do their "Linux" homework on a Windows machine. What the hell is wrong with society?
