anybody ever use it?

Link

I made a Live CD of it last night and its running right now at home, but, my D-Link wireless card wont connect to my router. is there a way to do this. I'm a noob when it comes to Linux, so, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm trying to ween myself off of depending on Windows.

No, but being that it's a live CD and comes with the FAH client already, it looks like it'd be great for simple folding farms. :) I'll give it a shot here at work.

rgr, and, I was wondering if it's even possible to get Steam and Cs working on this distro. i know there are long processes which will get it to work in wine, or winex, but they only work for certain distros. any idea if it would work?

Sorry, no idea. I've never used steam.

I'm pretty sure Cedega (formaly winex) has .deb packages that should work fine. I used Cedega to install Steam and the Half Life 2 demo and everything works great.

I have looked into Cedega. Only problem is I don't want to pay for it. I have read abotu people getting Steam and CS to work with wine, but it required various and numerous tweaking in the command line. I will be researching this and possibly switching to Debian after reading the article in this months issue by Will Smith. Lots of command line stuff, I like.......

Ok, I'm downloading it now. I'll be giving it a shot soon. I'll let you know how it goes. :)
