Wow man that's crazy. Good thing Security in Linux were so high, if it happened in Windows Server or something like that it would have been over in the first stages.

(for the Windows guys anyways)

This rates right there is Ubuntu wanting to port the linux kernel to Mono.

Uhhh, he got an admin password and had access to an RSA key. If the physical security holes are that big there really is not much hope.

I blame people for this one and not the OS.

It's the UNIX security model. If you are dumb and/or arrogant, you will lose and it's all your fault. A simple password and leaving around clues (RSA) is their own fault.

And yes, UNIX/Linux/BeOS etc. can be hacked. If someone is willing to devote themselves it is possible on anything because everything becomes ones and zeroes at some point.

From the last couple security contests I read about, OSx is actually EASIER to hack than Windows. Nobody has really seemed interested in doing it yet.

eh...the more I think a hackintosh becomes more popular, the more I think this will increase.
