Okay, I have a folder in my /mnt/hdb1 partition (60GB drive) called public. I set up Samba so that I can share files across my 3 computers, but I ran into a small snag.

On my Windows XP box, I can see my Samba share, however, the folders only go 1 deep - that is, if I were to open up a folder that I know has content, it doesn't show up. Does anybody have a clue as to how to fix this? I would like to have access to all of my files.

Doesn't this make you want to rush out and become a sysadmin? :)

lol...I wish :) OTOH, I finally figured out what was wrong. My permissions weren't right, so I just changed the permissions and the owner.
