I install Fedora Core 3 fine, get it all good till i get to the boot where i get stuck on
Configuring Kernal Parameters:_
then it stops
dont know how, dont know why
i am using an old school HP with an Intel pent processor at about 800 mhz
completley formatted the hard drive a few times, so its just FC3 on it.
I'm using the workstation setup with no ethernet card activated on boot and ive tried with active on boot
im using a ps/2 mouse and keyboard, nothing else is plugged in cept my monitor
and the checksums on my iso images are all matches of the ones that fedora did

HELP ME! PLEASE!

EDIT!! NVM i fixed it (well, my bud online did) and all u gotta do is enter the fedora menu (the one that shows ur different OS's) and then u hit a i believe and remove
rhgb
that will do it

UPDATE!
I CANNOT CONFIG MY X!
ive tried x86config but it says no such command!!!!!

You mean xf86config?

My guess is that Fedora uses X.org, in which case you want to try xorgconfig.

ya i got a 30 gig drive

ya, apparently Fedora switched from x to x org so they really missed the point on that one....
so i am just downloading either suse or FC2
most likley fc2
can anyone tell me the checksums of FC2 disk 1-4 iso because they do not have them posted like the FC3's are

I have my doubts that FC2 is going to help any..

IIRC, it used to be redhat-config-xfree86, and then with the release of 3 it was changed to system-config-display

And your checksums can be found here..
