O.K guys, I am currently downloading Mandrake Linux CD1
I have "Nero-Burning Rom" it came bundled with my Drive. It has these 3 options that have to do with booting/ISO but I dont know which to use..
- CD-ROM (ISO)
- CD-ROM (Boot)
- CD-ROM (UDF/ISO)
which do I choose? Also if i choose CD-ROM (boot) it has these options:
Bootable Logical drive (must fit on the cd!)
Which do I choose?
Also I do not have any partitioning apps but I have 2 Hard Drives Both are currently NTFS but could I somehow make one FAT32 (to share files with Windows and Linux together).
Bassically what I mean is I want to dual boot but can I just have linux on one HD and windows on the other and not have to partition? I would much raher do that AND have windows still access that HD (hence making it win32)
Please answer these 2 quesions. I am very excited but I'm just a bit stucked right now.
EDIT: sorry one more: How can I use windows apps on linux (read: Office, HL2, CS ( and CS:S), UT2004, Firefox etc.) can I? I mean its no use switching to Linux if I wont be able to run cool apps.
I really appreciate your [possible
