 Post subject: things to do in linux

I have been dabaling with linux for quite some time now, i can install software, recomplie my kernal and all that, even install gentoo (from a stage 3 tarball).

So basiclly i am looking for software that will hold my intrest in linux (basicly when i sit down what machine do i use linux or windows 2000) and things to do to make KDE feel more like home, what kindof things can i do to make KDE my own, Links and stuff would be great

Check the 'linux links' sticky, and try reading some of the threads that ask 'should I use linux' or 'why linux' ... also try the 'linux questionaire' thread, since it asks members to list the software that they commonly use.

how do you install those KDE modifcations, there are some i would like to try but can no seem to get them installed
