Short and simp[le: Grub doesn't see my wireless logitec KB. Can I fix it? Switching between keyboards everything I restart is annoying.

Don't bother fixing it. Run,don't walk over to Ebay.. (www.ebay.com)..and pick yourself up a IBM Model M PS/2 keyboard.(Note:this is a wired keyboard.I've found wireless keyboards to be more trouble than they're worth.)
Here's a link:

(Sorry if I'm a little biased,as I'm typing on a 1991 IBM Model M right now,and I have a 2nd 1991 IBM Model M hooked up to my backup Linux PC. )

Wikipedia link for this wonderful keyboard:

Grub hates my dvd drive apparently... my new "HTPC" REFUSES to boot to a CD... even when I have hd0 disabled as a boot device...

/sigh

Gamer, did you install with that keyboard arrangement? Or did you change it? I have you tried performing a dist upgrade while the keyboard was attached, and working?

PS/2 keyboards are always going to be more reliable when booting a pc. GRUB works better w/ PS/2 keyboards, but it will work with USB. May not be a bad idea to keep an old PS/2 hooked up for when you reboot or power it up. :)...I've always hated that about USB keyboards.

Gamer:
Have you checked your BIOS config, made sure that "legacy USB support" is set to 'enabled'?

It does help.
