 Post subject: Fix problems with Firefox after updating to Ubuntu 7.10

After updating to 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) of Ubuntu this morning, Firefox would crash on certain pages, including MPC's forums/homepage.

I am running the 64 bit version.

I discovered the fix though.

If you ran the Flash hack/install script, simply rerun it.

***UPDATE! READ THIS!***

I discovered the problem. This occurs due to an update to a newer version of nspluginwrapper. After you rerun the script, do not download the update for it or it will break again!

After I reran it on my machine, Firefox works like normal now.

Thanks, this helped me out a bunch. I couldn't figure out why firefox kept crashing..... :D

You can simply install a 32bit version of Firefox. ;-)
