Hey All,

I've decided to give linux a try, and i am looking at fedora core 3.
Since im such a newb, i dont know which to download from the torrent.

The
Fedora Core 3 Source iso images for i386 or
Fedora Core 3 Binary iso images for i386

And lastly, how do i check the md5sum?

Thanks,

Victor

The binary image is your best bet. It contains a pre-compiled (ie., working) distribution. The source image contains only source code that you must compile yourself ... not a task for a novice linux admin.

Definitely the Binary ISO's. For MD5Sum, you need an MD5 Checksum app for Windows. Don't forget to save the .md5 file of the ISO's when you download it.
