 Post subject: ubuntu feisty install problems

i am trying to install ubuntu feisty and i have some space partitioned off and i can not get it to work it ask me to change to some root directory thing and i have no idea wut to put in

How much space do you have partitioned off for your linux install? Do you have it formatted in NTFS, if so reformat it in FAT32. Linux doesn't work well in NTFS.

Did you download Feisty ISO and make a bootable install cd using your favorite burn program?
