i was wanting to know if someone could set up a comunity FTP server cuz i have some Linux eBooks and stuff that is way to big for my 10MB website (free from my ISP)and all the "free" webspace sites i have found are crappy...besides i suck at building webpages.

or maby someone could tell me how to emal 20 to 30MB (as i have a 3MB send limit)so someone can host this stuff.

NOTE: i posted this here because the files(1.zip and 1.pdf) are for linux noobs

First, the boilerplate. Books are no different then music or software. If they're public domain, you should feel free to host or link to them. However, if they're not, this is the end of the discussion. See the forum rules if this sounds like Greek.

If you do find an ftp host, you won't need to email them. Simply upload them using 'put'. Google "ftp rfc" if that doesn't ring a bell.
