Maximum PC

I have a palm pre, and I love Palm's webOS, but I'm wondering if I should stay with palm or upgrade to some of the new phones that are coming out.

Even though I love my phone, I'm not exactly a Palm fan boy. (nor should I be, since Palm doesn't exist anymore) Palm says that they'll put up a new phone -guesses are next summer, but I wonder if I should switch to an android phone.

The reason why I ask, is that I hear the features are nice, but ultimately it's the UI/OS that will make you hate or love a smartphone.
