Maximum PC

Hi guys.

I'm trying to setup vpn on my linux install on my laptop per my schools instructions and I just cannot figure out how to create the configuration file. I've tried just about everything I can think of (which isn't much) and haven't gotten anywhere.

I'm really not that familiar with linux so I'm learning as I go, but this shouldn't be that hard. I've queried a few friends and they haven't been able to offer any input aside from "That's odd.." so I'm kinda stuck.

Have you installed the vpnc package yet? If yes, proceed. If not, install it first from the package manager (synaptic, or whatever it is now).

Insert the lines that it tells you to. The connection instructions should now work

turns out sudo su doesn't work, nor does normal sudo. I needed to use sudo -s and that worked.

Yes, it was already installed, the directory vpnc was there, I just couldn't get into it.
