Maybe it was a bad Idea but I decided to turn my old machine (P2 266, 192 RAM, 3dfx banshee) into a Solaris machine, to play around with.

I went with solaris 10. Maybe another mistake.

The machine is running pretty slow, which I can deal with (or add more ram), but my real problem is that it won't go past 640x480 !!!

I think it's probably because of video drivers. Being that this is a new operating system, and an old video card, I was assuming that driver support would be built in. Now what do I do? When can I get drivers for this thing?

Thanks.

never mind this one! I got it working...

For those of you who have the same problem, kdmconfig is for the old system. For the new one, you use /usr/X11/bin/xorgconfig.

Thanks anyways!
