I recently installed Mandrake 10.1 on my laptop and it has been a real bitch trying to get WiFi working (this is very important - cat 5s suck). I tried to install a D-Link AirPlus XtremeG DWL-G650 using ndiswrapper 1.2 (ndiswrapper.sourceforge.com) following these directions: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/phpw ... stallation
This is what I get:
[root@192 ndiswrapper-0.12]# make install
make -C driver install
make: Entering directory `/home/chase/docs/ndiswrapper-0.12/driver'
Can't find kernel sources in /lib/modules/18.104.22.168-12mdk/build;
give the path to kernel sources with KSRC=<path> argument to make
make: *** [prereq_check] Error 1
make: Leaving directory `/home/chase/docs/ndiswrapper-0.12/driver'
make: *** [install] Error 2
I am a linux noob of sorts and I'm sure I am overlooking a lot in my ignorance. If someone could lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
