we got a new Mac Tower in the office and I like to put something that's going to get heavy use a stress test gauntlet. But I really can't find any thing besides a single 20x40 poster in indesign to throw at it in OSX.

I've run 3dmark06 in Boot Camp XP, and Champions Online at highest settings, I'm going to do the same with City of Heroes since that has a Mac client, ran F@H in OSX and XP, and will run Mass Effect in XP later. But nothing is really a good test in Snow Leopard and i want to establish a baseline for this thing.

Any Ideas?

F@H is the single best stress test you're going to come across for any machine. It will push your machine harder than anything and find instabilities that didn't make memtest, prime95, etc. bat an eye.

That's just a viewer for the old PowerPC client. For the Intel based Macs, you don't even get that. And if it's anything like the Windows graphical client, you don't want to run it anyway. The GPU client is for Windows only right now.

Take a look at MemtestG80 for working out your GPU under OSX assuming you have an nVidia card.
