Hi folks!
Could anyone recommend a good registry monitoring tool for Windows XP? Maybe something that can see all the changes made by program install and also be able to undo them completely.

Hey there are a lot of programs and lots of ways to do what you want to do...

And older app that should still work is InCtrl 3

I tend to use Filemon and Regmon from SysInternals
I take snapshots of both before an app installs and then compare the before and after... (Haven't used it in several months - but the help files are good)

Thanks a lot! I will try Sysinternals :) These guys have some neat utils, I didn't know that had one for registry

Ya its amazing how good there stuff is...

Just a note of warning - the first time someone uses regmon or filemon they are sometimes shocked at the amount of data hehe -don't worry the tool is just that good at tracking EVERYTHING... Might want to run it and play around with filtering stuff to get the most accurate info...

Thanks! I'm runnig it right now. I filted to Writes or Errors only and it doesn't seem so overwelming now :)
