I recently replaced my hard drive in one of my systems and I reinstalled windows XP home. Now when I installed XP I partitioned my hard drive into a 20gb and a 40gb (60gb hd) I completed the install then the service packs (1&2) while installing the basics I noticed that my second partition of the hard drive is labeled F: now the way I have my drives are as follows:
Primary master: 60 gb hard drive (drive C: f: )
Primary slave: empty
Secondary master: 16x dvd rom (drive D: )
Secondary slave: sony cdrw (drive E: )

now is there any way I can remap the drives without buying a program like partition magic?
Also the only other software I have loaded is ms works and system works 2004 the F: drive has nothing on it yet
Thanks for any help
Mike

Do you want to map it as a network drive, or just change drive letters?

To change Drive Letters just goto Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer management go down to storage and then Disk management and double click on it.

Right click on a partition then click change drive letter.

To change a drive letter, click it, click Change, click the drive letter you want to use, and then click OK.
