 Post subject: Msconfig Error

When i type "msconfig" in run i get this error message (please help if you can)



"Windows cannot find 'msconfig'. Mkae sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

look to make sure it is still there...."msconfig.exe"

(this if for XP)

You can also type the following in a DOS window.

C:\dir msconfig*.* /s /w

This will show you where it is located if it's still on you hard drive.

hey ninja if you are using win2000 as your o/s then you dont have msconfig. on the other hand, if you are using winxp and even win98, then all is fair game.

If you are in Win2000 then I would get a copy of msconfig.exe from another PC with XP and copy it to the system32 dir in your windows or winnt dir. The msconfig from XP works just fine in win2000. I'd like to know who decided to leave it out of that OS anyway.
