I figured that this would be the best spot to post this, but let me know if it has to be moved.
Anyway....
I'm using Azureus 2.1.0.4, and I've been getting the ridiculous NAT error. I read that ZoneAlarm is incompatible with it, so I tried just uninstalling it and running Az without any firewall at all, but I still get the same error.
I'm on a 1.5M DSL connection, and I'll list any hardware I'm running you'd need to know to help me fix this.
Thanks in advance.

Are you using a router? If so open (forward) port # 6881 for UPD and TCP. If this is not the case, then the only other explanation would be that Windows Firewall is enabled. Go to your network connection properties (in Network Connections), once the window pops up for your connection, hit the advanced tab, and it will let you enable/ disable the firewall (in sp1 for xp) or if you have sp2, when you turn Azureus on, it should automatically pop up saying if you want to block or unblock Azureus, if this doesnt work then go to control panel, windows firewall and open the ports manually (very easy if you have sp2 for xp), and its the same port.
I hope this helps.

Actually, I'm not using a router or Windows firewall. After reading through a bunch of FAQs last night, it turned out that just switching the port Azureus uses to 6882 cleared it all up.
Who knows why 6881 wouldn't work...
