Been away from the forums for a while, these new ones are wicked nice. Great job to whomever hooked these up.
Anywho, I've got a question about the SQL server that we are building at work -- hopefully someone can help me out.

Here's the specs of the system:
SuperMicro SC742S-600 Chassis w/ 600w PS (triple redundant!!)
SuperMicro X6DA8-G2 Mobo
Dual 3.0Ghz 800mhz FSB Xeons
2GB PC2-4200 Unbuffered Mushkin DDR2
APOLLO S3 SAVAGE IX Video Card, 8MB
(3) Lite-On 16X DVD-ROM
NEC 1.44MB Black Internal Floppy Drive
(8) FUJITSU 36.7GB 15,000RPM Ultra 320 SCSI HDDs (data)
(2) FUJITSU 18GB 15,000RPM Ultra 320 SCSI HDDs (system)
(2) LSI Logic MegaRaid SCSI 320-2x w/ 128mb ram
Windows Server 2003
SQL Server 2000 Processor License

The (2) 18gb drives are going to be Raid 1 system drives on one LSI card
The (8) 36.7gb drives are going to be Raid 0+1, for 140gb total for data in a data silo on the second LSI card.
I have never built a SQL Server before, so I am wondering how the OS and the SQL Server itself should be configured? What would be the best way for us to partition all of the drives?
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
