Has any one had any experience with this OS. I am using it now and it seems to be really slick. My networking seems a little faster and my memory usuage a little lower than XP. What problems have you ran into with it that I need to look forward to? Gaming also seems slightly better than XP also. It's like using an enhanced 2K pro

Yep, about a year or so now. I tried the trial, then upgraded my Windows 2k licenses with my MSDN sub.

I wouldn't use it as a workstation OS...it's a memory hog and it's designed for server duties. Windows XP is truly the best solution for workstation and gaming, though WIN2K3 does support both.

Plus, given the abuse of workstation use you can bork even more with the server version. Turn it into a DHCP server, router, DNS server, and use it to control your network resources and security, but don't relegate it to workstation duties...you'll thank me in the long run.
