It has been two years since I upgraded my Win 2000 system to XP Pro with the Upgrade software. My hard drive has now accumulated tons of junk. Max PC keeps saying that we should periodically reformat and reinstall the OS. Is there a way to do that from the Upgrade version or do I have to go out and spend more buckazoids for the vanilla XP OS?
Is there a way to clean things up by using the XP Pro Upgrade ?
Thanks for the help.

As long a you still have the Win 2000 disk it should be no problem. You shouldn't have to install 2000 first, just use the XP disk. It will ask you for the 2000 disk, just to verify that you own a prev version of windows so you will need the disk.
