1) the only way to hid your ip and isp is to use a proxy server...

2) hiding your ip addy and isp won't stop you from getting spyware.

Lets play a little game... remember when you were a little kid. You mommy said "don't touch the stove or you'll get burned." What was the first thing you did? You touched the stove and got burned! But you learned not to touch it again didn't you.

If you keep getting spyware you need to stop doing whatever it is that you do in the first place. Hiding your IP address is like using your left hand to touch the burner instead of your right hand. It may be a different hand but the outcome is still going to be the same thing!

You get the idea?

You need to clean up your machine and stop visiting websites, downloading bad software, etc. Spyware doesn't just magically grow on your computer. You have to do something that lets it get installed. So step one is get a copy of lavasofts adaware and/or Spybot Search and Destroy and clean up your machine. Second step is to figure out what the heck you're doing that causes you to get spyware and stop that behavior!!!!

Now be a good internet citizen and go clean up your computer!

I like using Dexter's voice in my head when I read your posts. One of these days you'll decide to flame someone, and when you do, please write "you are stoooopid, you are stoooopid." I'd enjoy that.

That is all.

Sheesh...

I think I see a pattern developing here. You keep going to the same places, then you get spyware from them each time you go there?

Le'me summarize part of what Dexter said... In three words:

Stop going there!

And I whole-heartedly agree with One4yu2c.

Get a firewall

Run the Spybot SD Immunizer (after you scan with it and Adaware)

Block all cookies in your browser

Disable cache and history

Don't use IE

Don't use an "always on" type of connection

Proxy when possible or develop some type of scraficial device on a home network.

Always close your browser completely after visiting known sites with spyware and then Run your Spybot SD and Adware.

Or

Just don't go there.

Joking aside - you should do some of the above anyway. And to find out which site are the issue you can run the scanners after you visit each site.
