Ok, so I decide to redo my current fileserver and Create an Active Directory Domain. My Server consists of:

2x Xeon 2.20Ghz
Tyan Tiger i7505
512MB PC2100 (Shaddap)
ATi Radeon 8500
80GB Hitachi 120GXP
3x WD Special Ed. 120GB RAID-XL on Netcell SyncRAID 3000
M-Audio Revolution 7.1
Hi-Val 52x CDRW (Hey, it was cheap and it works :P)
CoolMax Taurus 550Watt PSU w/ Ricer Blue Light (Got it as a combo deal w/ Motherboard)
Lian Li PC70
Windows 2000 Server
(Yes, my lazy ass just C&P'd from my Commport Profile)

Anyways... Installed Windows, Installed chipset drivers, installed patches, installed rest of drivers
(Except video for some reason).
Then, set-up my Active Directory domain/DNS services.
Finally I decide to install the drivers (I don't know why I didn't do it earlier)
Computer reboots... Log-in and get kicked back to the 'Press CTRL+ALT+DEL' picture. Log-in and once again get kicked back to C+A+D Picture.
Reboot into safemode. Comes up fine.
Uninstall ATi Driver, as that was last thing I installed. Reboot.
Computer boots back into Windows asking to install drivers. So, I re-install 'em.
Computer reboots, and it does the same thing. (Keep getting kicked back out.)
Reboot back into Safemode, uninstall ATi Driver, then reboot.
Computer comes back up, I hit-up driverheaven for Omegas. Get the latest ones and install 'em.
Reboot, Windows boots up. Log in, and everything works fine. In fact, I'm typing from it now.

What the heck?

I just saw some wierd stuff like that with mine too...

I installed SP2 out of the box though, then the ATI drivers...

...it was nothing a deinstall and reinstall couldn't fix, but I thought it was wierd too.

Yeah, I'm still kinda wondering about that. I knew it wasn't the card, as it was working fine before I re-installed Windows. Of course, I was also using the Omega driver then too.
Hell, the only reason I decided to try ATi's driver is because for the past few days, it seems www.omegadrivers.net is down?

Finally googled for 'em and found 'em at driverheaven. No problems since.

ATi needs to hire this guy. He seems to do a better job at these drivers.
