 Post subject: program that did all the bleeps and noises...

that ran in the background. Was made to simulate noises from those sci fi shows. It was in the current/last issues of maxpc's cd.

Wichita! Nice to have another Kansan...WiseOracle is in your neck of the woods as well..

Ah...Nullsoft Beep. I imagine that the program was made with some general programming language like C++. Not really sure. You may want to post this question over in Programmer's Paradise as some of these Guru's may know right off the bat.

I'm going to look around in the program itself and see if I can figure it out, but doubt it. Hmmm...do you still have it installed? look around in the Nullsoft Beep folders. There's one called "source". It's a pretty dead give away IMO.

Hint: Microsoft Developer Studio. Big lean toward C++ now. But I imagine that you could use this with MPC's VB guides to make your own if you felt inclined to do so. MDS is a pretty neat tool if you want to play. It does Java as well, but I prefer VisualCafe for that type of work.
