This is probably ok to post here since its not really a problem you are trying to fix.

Have you tried google? Or are you actually looking for the ones that are already supposed to be on your drive?

Well, I think those are .wav files - so do a search for those. You are looking for "windows .wav themes or sounds"

Sorry I can't help more - in a rush.

LOL. Honestly - I longed for the older second party desktop themes that were created for win98 (just the sounds), and I found the easiest way to get the wavs was just to download the themes and extract them, and just get the wave sounds. I had some cool win98 themes back in the day, and created about 11 of them myself and had a few posted a ways back. They are not up anymore but I have many older themes still that used to go into the old 98 directory. I get the sounds off of those. Too many sounds are annoying though. I just use a few. The Nullsoft sound app that came on the last MaxPc CD was terribly lame though. It often uses 4-7% CPU utilization and has only one preset non-changeable sound scheme (if you want to call it that). I have a custom WarGames sound theme that I created too from sounds clips off of the movie. Remember the move WarGames? :)
