There is one particular program I want to give permanent permission to (Samsung Magician), but I will probably want to disable UAC alerts for more programs in the future; it should be able to make changes without asking me in the future. I don't want to disable UAC for every program though.

I usually turn UAC off. In 7 you can right-click (on the .exe or a shortcut, I think on a shortcut) and in the properties there's a checkbox for Run as Administrator. See if that does it. I'm not sure.

I don't want to turn it off. I want it for every program not specifically excluded. I might end up doing that if all else fails, but I'd like to see if anyone has found a solution for something this common that I'll want to do with several dozen other programs. Also, the first word in the title of the thread is "Win8.1," but most things that work in 7 should apply to 8 anyway. Run as Administrator only applies to the current session, and is something that is set manually.

The checkbox (not right-click context menu) is only good for the current session? Hmm, well, yeah, I don't know off hand.
