I upgraded my laptop to Windows 8.1 from 8. Worked relatively flawlessly.
Except that the default DPI scaling causes one of two extremes now (instead of working right in 8). Either it is scaled up, making system items readable but application text WAY too big, or it is scaled down so applications look fine but system text is too small to read.
So far, the only solution I've found is to scale up but set all applications to "disable DPI scaling on high resolution displays."
Is there a way around this binary conundrum, or do I have to just disable DPI scaling on every application I use?
