I have yet to get a notice from auto update on SP2, where can i download it?

i dont get it, why is it on the site that lets you download windows update files to save to a disk, yet not up on the site that is integrated into windows?

They don't have the autoupdate package ready yet, it should be available on the 25th from what I recall seeing. What's available from microsoft right now is the full blown network install of it that covers several different flavors of XP, including the media center version.

that's for the people running SP1 though. i was under the impression that those of us running the RC2 or other earlier versions would get the update on 8/9/2004.

That's the one I dowloaded and used...

My machine was SP2RC2 and my wife's plain old SP1...

Worked on both very well.
