 Post subject: Windows 8 and Hyper-V

Do any of you have a link to a good howto on setting up Hyper-V on Windows 8 Pro machines? I have a Windows 98 .vmc from Virtual PC and it's got Starship Titanic (old Douglas Adams game), which I don't want to live without.

I'm running Windows 8 Pro on this setup:

Core i5 3570K
8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Gigabyte Z77-DS3H
GeForce GTX 550 Ti (EVGA)

Any helpful hints appreciated. There was a utility for turning .vmc files into the format Hyper-V wants, but it appears to be from 2011 and it didn't work with Windows 8 Pro GA.

To enable is easy peasy...
1. On the Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Programs and Features.
2. Click Turn Windows features on or off.
3. Click Hyper-V, click OK, and then click Close.

So far, I was able to follow the above advice, and find TenSeldamUtility2009_03.exe, which, when installed, can convert the Virtual PC 2005 and 2007 .vmc to a virtual machine that works with Hyper-V. But the virtual machine fails on boot, so I'm digging out the old Windows 98SE .iso, and trying to create the VM that way.
