Hi all
I'm putting together a new desktop PC, it will be my main home machine.
I'd like to install Windows 8 Pro as my main operating system, but do a dual boot setup with Windows 7 Ultimate.

I'm interested in others' experiences and preferences for doing this.
I'm considering:
installing Win 8 Pro, then creating a VHD on a separate partition and installing Win 7.
This is a fresh new build, so I guess it makes sense to create the partitions during the Win 8 setup process, no?
Any pitfalls to watch out for?

Win8 finally makes excruciatingly easy to dual boot. Just setup up your OS partitions and install away. Win8 will throw up a screen asking you which OS to boot into by default. From there forward, if you don't pick the other OS at that screen during start-up, your PC will boot into the default. Which according to you, will be Win8.
