Good morning guys. I use task scheduler on my win 7 enterprise work PC to start up my applications in the morning Dameware, GroupWise, Internet Explorer and the Active Directory tool we use to reset passwords. The task scheduler in win 7 works really well. My question is this, is it possible to have the task scheduler open tabs in internet explorer? I go to 4 sites in internet explorer everyday. They never change. I was wondering if it was possible to get task scheduler to open internet explorer, then open these tabs I need in IE. Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks again.

This via task scheduler, no. But why not Task Schedule IE to start and just macro IE to open your fav four sites or you could also set your sites as the auto-default homepage(s) with their own separate tab.

Got a link for me so I can figure out how to do this? Thank you for answering me. I appreciate the tips.

A quick and dirty method:

  1. Open up the four websites
  2. Go to Tools -> Internet Options (Alternatively Control Panel -> Internet Options)
  3. In the "General Tab" under "Home Page", click on the "Use Current" button

It should list the URL of your websites. Any time you start up IE, it'll open up those four.

Thanks for that, shame on me for not noticing that. I mean it says it right there.
