Redmond says fuk you! You'll use Win8 my way. Microsoft has blocked a popular work-around that let users boot directly to the Windows 8 desktop. I say fuk you back!

IMO, if any Linux distro (or any alternative OS for that matter) ever had a chance to move into prominence (i.e. steal significant market share), Windows 8 will open up that window of opportunity. Microsoft can do anything they want to with Windows 8... Just as with Vista, I won't be touching it. I'll stick with Windows 7 on my gaming / editing rig for the next decade & fool around with Ubuntu for everything else.

No doubt! Here's hoping PCLinuxOS with it's lilliputian footprint and it's simplicity can make some gains as Redmond trips, loses its way and cannibalizes itself.

Ah, where's my middle finger smiley?
I wonder if this also means that parts of ClassicShell will no longer work? I tried it on the consumer preview and it was fine.
