At some point my install of XP Pro started to boot extremely slow, right after I login. I'd like to find out which program/driver is causing problem. Is there some kind of boot monitoring utility for this? I remember reading something somwhere about Boot monitoring/optimization utilities. Can someone point me in the right direction?
BTW, inspecting Event Viewer didn't reveal much, and I also disabled extra services...

Here you go

http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/12/2/12-2-1.shtml

I don't believe you can monitor you boot process with this software (Bootvis), but it is a boot optimizer. I would also recommend deleting everything in your prefetch folder and jumping into msconfig and getting rid of any extra startup items.

hope this helps
