This guy in the August issue of Max PC asked about how to get rid of Win8 with a duel boot system Win7 and Win8. Well David Murphy's Answer is wrong. This what to do, that is do what i did. I was dual booting with WinXP and Win7 Then installed Win8 to a seperate partition tried it but did not like it. I booted to Win7 and I fired up msconfig. choose the boot tab. Make Win7 default, delete the entry for Win8 make the changes perminent (it will ask if you want to do that and the answer is yes) and reformated that partition so Win8 is gone and the boot loader is fixed. It is just like Win 8 was never there.
Now go find the hidden install files for Win8 left on Win7 drive and delete them.
