I'm deploying my home server setup (finally) and was wondering what others have been doing as far as firewalls go?

Should I just use the Windows Firewall on the server or should I look into a third party app? I know that some companies advise against using a third-party firewall because it can interfere with communication between the server and other computers on the network.

I'm just looking to see what others are doing.... And my server is also behind the firewall in my router as well. Is that enough or should I consider more?

(BTW-The server is plugged into a keyboard, mouse, and monitor for when I need to work on it.)

I'd second the advice that you found elsewhere:
Just run the in-box Windows firewall. A third-party firewall isn't going to make the box any more secure; but, it is likely to create a fair amount of pain for you.
