Calling all experts, Calling all experts,

Which one is better. Which one has more file type support? Which one is more feature packed?
Dose Libre Office has extensions? (went to their website couldn't find any). I have old qpw (quatro pro) files and couldn't open them with Libre Office.
Is there a better alternative to MS Office?

Thank You

It's "basically" the same thing at this point and they just have two different names. Why? They just split and Libre has yet to do much with it but separate.

If you don't need Java Run-Time, utilize the experimental features in either, or work with dated passed work; pick Open Office w/o JRE. If you have to work with MS products or really enjoy stuff like Scalable Vector Graphics, go with Libre. I feel this will change with a bit more time, but since I work with Office as well I've about all but went to full Libre.

Yet, again...3 licenses for Office '10 Home/Student is only $100.

My previous question was the different between MS Office and the open source ones. Now I am asking for the difference between the two open source suites. I hate to have multiple software on my computer that essentially dose the same thing and I am NOT a fan of MS.
I have installed Libre Office on my computer and tried to open a Quatro Pro file (qpw) and was not able to. I went to Libre Office website to look for extensions or anything that will allow me to open the files and unlike Open Office, Libre Office dose not offer any extensions on their site. So I am wondering if there is such an extension or should I just go back to using Open Office.

Thank You

..and of coarse what you're asking now was even answered then too. Perhaps looking at ovenmaster's question.
