Is there a way to receive Google Voice notification w/o having to use the Chrome browser? Also, please don't suggest I enable the forward-to-email feature, as that creates spam when texting.

Okay, then I don't know. I haven't had much experience with Voice, and I just thought you didn't like Chrome.

I do like Chrome, but I've seen more sites that don't work well with Chrome than Firefox, so want to go with Firefox as my default browser for now.
