Windows 7 HP 64bit. I've been using my main HD for awhile now and am interested in adding a 128GB SSD for the OS and Programs. I'd like to do a fresh install of the OS on the SSD, stick my old HD in as D: without formating it and just tell the OS that the Users directory on D:\Windows\Users is the directory of record. Then, once that is working, I'll delete what I don't need. Alternatively I could copy the Users directory on my old drive out of the Windows directory (I assume I can do this once the OS I'm running is not the one on that drive) and point the SSD to that. Or, I could (from the SSD OS) transfer the Users flag to the HD creating a new set of folders and then copy the files into the new folders on D:. Hey, I'm lazy and there's got to be some easy way to do this. It's not like I'm the first person to want to do it. You would think there's a utility just for this!
