So, I just put together a FreeNAS box with some old stuff I had, and one of the hard drives was, via USB, plugged into one of my computers and shared with the network; full permissions. I physically disconnected the drive and installed it in the NAS box, but did not "un-share" the drive with the network.
Is there any way to get rid of the dead path to the drive in my networks folder without pulling the drive out of it's current residence, and re-hooking up to the old PC to "un-share" it? Thanks for any help.
