Is there a way that I can log into a WinXP machine that has passed its 30 day activation limit (as in, it won't let you log in normally without first activating Windows)?
I know I can get in through Safe Mode, but the problem is that I need to start a program so that I can back its data up, but the program states that it cannot run while in Safe Mode, so I need to be able to get into Windows normally so I can let this program run "normally" so I can do the backup.
Reason I can't activate it on this computer is because I only installed Windows so that I could test the machine and test the software. The unit is being sold without the software so I don't want to "waste" the activation and have to deal with it.
Suggestions? Is there something I can change while in safe mode that will let me log in normally.
