Maximum PC

I can't get Narrator to work in Win7. I found this list of shortcuts telling it to read the window, paragraph, word, etc. and they don't work. Sal just says "empty page" to everything. http://tts.speakcomputer.com/Windows7/Narrator.aspx I'm not sight-impaired or anything, but it would be handy to be able to copy an audio recording of the read-through to an .mp3 file so I can listen to long scholarly documents on my daily commute that I don't otherwise have time to read.
