Ok so I have purchased the MS Office 2010 Home and Student Edition Family Pack (3 users). I dont understand how the family pack works. Is it one household 3 computers? or is it 3 licenses? I want to use this for a company computer at the office and my home computer at home two different locations but will MS Office detect that and cancel one out?

It's one house 3 computers?

Basically, they don't want you to give it to your relatives in another state.

this is quoted from the Newegg on the Details tab for the product
"Comes with disc and product key. For use on 3 PCs in 1 household"

So ur saying that I am good to go to install it on my 2 pcs?

That's correct, but for more reasons than you think:
1- as furball said, all PCs must be in the same residence;
2- Home and Student is for, well, home use. Using it in a business enviroment is also against the licensing terms (it's for "non-commercial use only.")

Wow....didn't know that...

although considering what's in Home and Student, I'd be apt to say use Office Online instead...
