Is there some sort of software out there that lets you program a 'hold' (along with a key) onto a mouse button until you click it again?

Thinking along the lines of an 'autorun' command for a game that doesn't have it. One click of the button would make the character run constantly until the button is clicked again.

Shoot, I'd be willing to buy a new mouse if the manufacturer had this sort of programming functionality. (I currently have a Logitech mouse).

Thanks!

This is really more OS dependent than anything else.

I assume you're running windows, so I'm moving this post to the Windows Parlour .. there must be some software that can do what you're asking.

It isn't a programming question, unless you're wanting to program a new interface for your mouse and kb .. I'm guessing no. ;)
